Please confirm with your Insurance Company that your individual plan covers the services of a psychiatrist. Note that some insurance may cover some types of illness, such as depression, bipolar and mood disorders, but not other types of issues such as learning disorders or eating disorders. For any reason, if I am not able to bill your insurance company due to non-coverage, you will be charged for the Doctor’s fee and you will be responsible for billing your insurance company. Here is a list of insurance we accept.

Dr. Patel's Office is located about half a mile (5 blocks) from the Foggy Bottom/GWU metro Station--just West of the White House.
From the Foggy bottom/GWU Metro station
At the top of the escalators, turn right and go down 23rd street for three blocks to F Street. Turn left onto F street-look for her office building about 3 blocks ahead on the right.

DIRECTIONS TO THE MARYLAND OFFICE
Dr. Patel's Maryland office is conveniently located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Patients come from Washington D.C., Mongomery, Howard, Prince George's and other Maryland counties as well as from Northern Virginia. Her downtown Washington D.C. is very convenient and can be accessed by car or metro.
Dr. Patel's office is located at the intersection of New Hampshire Ave. and Lockwood Drive, just south of Route 29 and after the White Oak Shopping Center behind the EXXON gas station.
